This item we usually call it Tape weft hair extension or Seamless Tape weft or Pu Double Tape weft or Pre Taped Hair Weft or Adhesive hair weft.
It is a very popular product in the world market right now. It is similar to PU skin weft, but it is much easier and more convenient to wear and remove, as the double-side tape has already been put on the Tape Weft hair weft.
The main technic for This item is using glue to stick human hair onto a piece of double side tape and then put another piece of double-side tape on the other side, so you can use this kind of product easily after peeling off the paper of the double-side tape.
And you can replace with another new double-side tape to re-use this product once the former double-side tape lost its glutinosity.
Tape weft hair is a very perfect solution for adding length or changing color or fullness to your hair.
Tape hair extensions have an added advantage of zero risk to a woman's real hair. Some women prefer to just add a narrow weft of highlights put in to their natural hair to experiment with colour styles instead of colouring their real hair. This also saves time and money that would otherwise be required for other time consuming permanent hair extensions or a hair colour treatment.
A good stylist can help apply the tape-in the hair extensions in such a way that the tape bond is strong and perfectly hidden amidst natural hair. Adding a few weft sandwiches is a nice and simple way of adding volume to your hair.
Unlike the other types, tape-in hair extensions take only 30 - 60 minutes for application. They are perfect for those who want to experiment with different styles but need permanent hair extensions for the length and volume to do so. For normal to dry hair, tape-in hair extensions last longer, whereas really oily hair will need to be regularly washed with a sulphate free shampoo. Our tapes are even great for clients with short hair, it's best to ask your hair dresser if your hair is suitable as they will be the one positioning and blending for a natural finish.
OF COURSE, WE HAVE OTHER KINDS OF HAIR EXTENSIONS, TOO.
Q: Why the colors of hair extensions don't seems exactly as the pictures show or description says?
A: Different monitor have different display. And every time, maybe the same color No. will have a little color different. Please ask a help from the hair dresser for the colors code as the international color swatch says.
Q: Can they be straightened or curled?
A: Yes you could use hair straightener or hair curler to style the hair extension.
However, don't do it too frequently as the heat will make the hair easily get dry and tangled
And will not last as long.
Q: Can I dye color the hair?
A: yes. The hair can be colored. As a general rule it is easier to darken the hair than to lighter the hair. We highly recommend having your hairdresser dye the extensions as you will get the results you want, coloring them yourself always poses a high risk of not coming out the shade you want. If you can't get to a salon, you can use a good quality hair dye and test a small sample first.
Q: How many pieces Hair for one head?
A: Normally 2packs is enough for a full head, at most 3packs. You can always use the leftover hair later. If you are using hair over 18" long you might need another pack.
Q: Why are my hair extensions getting tangle
A: Your Hair Extensions can tangle due to dryness, oil & dirt build-up, salt water, chlorine and not combing (wide tooth comb) out your hair daily. Make sure to wash & condition your hair at least once a week, twice a week is better. Use hydrating drops or consult your stylist for more help.
Q: How to measure the hair length?
A: When the hair is curl or wavy, you need to measure it when it was stretched it to straight.
